one pan spiced fish fajita


for marinating
1 kg boneless basa fish - cubes
1 tablespoon red chili powder
2/3 tablespoon red chili flakes
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/3 teaspoon nigella seeds
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
2/3 tablespoon salt, to taste
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon oil
for veggies
1 1/2 cup mixed peppers - cubes
1 medium white onion - cubes
for searing
1 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon butter


for marinating
Marinate fish with red chili powder, red chili flakes, turmeric, nigella seeds, coriander powder, paprika, garlic powder, cumin powder, salt, vinegar, and oil. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours or preferably overnight.
for searing
Heat ghee and butter in a large pan over a medium-high flame. Add the marinated fish and cook for 7 to 10 minutes; tossing in between. Add peppers and onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
